About the project

Funded by the European Commission through the KA2 – Capacity Building for Higher Education action of the Erasmus+ programme, MUSAE will have a duration of 3 years and be implemented between 15th January 2020 and 14th January 2023.

The main aim of the project is to develop Bachelor’s degree program in the field of Entrepreneurs in Arts to prepare future artists in order to enhance in a more effective way their (self) employability and the capacity to access the Creative Economy, as well as establish connections with the other national partners via gaining knowledge about cultural entrepreneurship and arts marketing.

To develop the application of management principles to the process of artistic creation. To develop community based campaigns and programs to raise awareness on the value of art education, its relations to sustainable development and future employability

To provide the future artists entrepreneurial and interdisciplinary skills. To engage the arts students (and teachers) in the local, regional and international art scene through internships, exchange programs and joint projects. Encourage mobility of students and teachers.

Kick-off meeting of the MUSAE project

Kick-off meeting was planned for March 9-10, 2020 in L’Aquila, Italy. But due to the Qovid-19 pandemic it was held on March 16th by on-line. 14 institutions from 6 countries: Italy, Belgium, Finland, Palestine, Tunisia and Uzbekistan participated in it.

Erasmus+ Capacity Building of Higher Education (CBHE) “Multidisciplinary Skills for Artists’ Entrepreneurship (MUSAE) project

Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent, State Conservatory of Uzbekistan and National Institute of Fine Arts and Design named after Kamoliddin Behzod jointly launched “Entrepreneurship skills in Art, Music and Creativity” course on the basis of the Erasmus+ Capacity Building of Higher Education (CBHE) “Multidisciplinary Skills for Artists’ Entrepreneurship (MUSAE) project”. Under this program, four different teams were created which includes 18 students in total from each university and institute. Each team works on the course teamwork that is focused on Art, Music and Creativity and develops their own business model as the final project work. After successful completion of the course those students have to attend in two weeks of student workshop and training in Belgium. The final project work will be defended in closing ceremony of Erasmus+ (CBHE) “Multidisciplinary Skills for Artists’ Entrepreneurship (MUSAE) project”.

The first online meeting of the students who are involving in Erasmus + MUSAE project.


On January 14, 2023, the first online meeting of the content team with all the students of Partner Universities was held on under the Erasmus+ Capacity Building of Higher Education (CBHE) “Multidisciplinary Skills for Artists' Entrepreneurship (MUSAE) project”. In the first part of the meeting, Jeroen Malaise coordinator of the content team briefly introduced the project description and aim to all students who are participating in the different Entrepreneurship modules that are developed under the MUSAE project.

In addition, Mr. Malaise presented a detailed plan for the students and content team workshop which will be held on in February 13-25, 2023, in Belgium. In the second part of the online meetings, students were joined to the predefined break-out rooms where they met with other students from the different Partner Universities including local universities such as Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent, State Conservatory of Uzbekistan and the National Institute of Fine Arts and Design named after Kamoliddin Behzod and also foreign universities like Birzeit University, Dar al-Kalima University, Institut Supérieur des Arts et Métiers de Sfax, Palestine Polytechnic University as well. The aim of these group meetings is to introduce the students to each other and to be familiar with them before the workshops to establish communication with each other. During the meetings, students present themselves to Partner Universities’ students and also share their idea as well.

MUSAE

Training program in Belgium under Erasmus+ Capacity Building of Higher Education (CBHE) “Multidisciplinary Skills for Artists’ Entrepreneurship (MUSAE) project

On February 13, 2023, the MUSAE program within the framework of Erasmus+ started training program. This workshop involves the participation of professors and trainers as well as the students from EU program universities including Finland, Italy and Belgium and other partners such as Tunisia, Palestine and Uzbekistan. The training program is scheduled on February 12-26, 2023, at Royal Conservatory of Antwerp, Belgium as a part of the Work Package 4 under ERSAMUS + CBHE “MUSAE” project. A group of teachers and students are participating in this workshop from our university as well.

committee in Italy within the framework of the
Erasmus + project “Multidisciplinary Skills for Entrepreneurship in the Arts / MUSAE”

From July 6 to July 13, 2023, within the framework of the Erasmus + project “Multidisciplinary Skills for Entrepreneurship in the Arts / MUSAE”, trainings and presentations of projects of students from 9 universities (Uzbekistan, Palestine and Tunisia) were held in the city of L’Aquila, Italy. Students of Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent, Institute of Applied Arts named after. K. Bekzod and the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan took part in Uzbekistan. Students presented their innovative work in various areas, each of which is a complete project that can already be used to support various segments of the population, in educational and professional fields, etc.

Also a meeting of the project management members was held, during which the submitted student works, dissemination of the project results, further tasks and financial issues were discussed. In addition, further meetings and issues related to them were discussed.
